I feel truly fortunate to have acquired such a vivid and pure rubellite, especially one originating from Afghanistan. I know that one day it will become part of the MELIKIAN collection in the form of a ring with this crimson-red gem—but the time has not yet come.
When I gaze at this stone, I sometimes wonder: what if a true connoisseur of gemstones approaches me and asks me to part with it? I cannot say what my answer would be. Perhaps my sense of ownership would not allow me to let it go. We shall see—whatever happens, it will mark a new step in my growth.
For now, I am simply grateful that this gem is with me. I delight in its beauty.
