A tilt, a turn — and like a chameleon’s whim, this tourmaline dissolves into pure emerald. I crave the slow delight of watching it breathe, naked in an open setting, alive on my hand.
It’s impossible to miss this bright red-pink fire in the stone. How rich nature is with wonders that we humans can sometimes behold!
The delicate pink hue of this spinel is unique. For many centuries, it could adorn only kings and shahs.
An extraordinary blue-green tourmaline. Today, it is known worldwide as Lagoon. Each person, just like myself, sees something different in it. For some, it is closer to an emerald; for others, to an indicolite. And there are specimens that resemble Paraiba tourmalines.
